FRESNO, Calif. November 30, 2009 —   The American Red Cross Central Valley Region would like to acknowledge and thank the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Beta Nu Chapter, located on the California State University, Fresno campus for their donation of $2,465.00 to the Save A Family Relief Fund.  These funds will be used to help families in our community that have lost their homes to house fires.

The Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity organized several activates with other sororities and fraternities, at Fresno State , for a week long philanthropy project.  The week ended with a Powder Puff football tournament which was very competitive.  The teams were formed at each of the local sororities and each team was coached by a group of men from the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. 

We commend theses students for their volunteer hours and their commitment to the community.
